I’ve been quiet on the blog for a while, and it felt appropriate to share a quick update on what I’ve been up to recently, and why that might change.
The big theme: I’m retooling — deliberately getting more comfortable building and shipping things myself, not just thinking about them. I’m starting with my own use cases — and writing more as I build in public is a side-effect I’m actively courting.
Two threads are driving most of my time here.
Thread 1 — My “Chief of Staff”
I’ve been experimenting with agent frameworks to build out something going by many names in the industry — a Personal OS, a second brain, a chief of staff — but concretely, a harness for “always running” AI agents with messaging bridges and tooling integrations that can handle recurring tasks, surface the right context at the right time, and generally act as an extension of how I work.
I recently got NanoClaw running on a DigitalOcean droplet, started migrating my Evernote knowledge base to Obsidian for better agentic integrations, and have been testing different frameworks and approaches to figure out what actually holds up day-to-day versus what’s just fun to tinker with. Thread 2 — Vibe-30 (or 60) Challenge
Inspired by my peers building in public (notably Nuno’s vibe30 challenge), I figured the easiest way to overcome my own mental blocks was to try my own timeboxed builder challenge.
My goal is simple: ship things regularly within a timebox, focusing on learning, keep the bar low, and disposability is fine. I might stretch it past 30 days — we’ll see what sticks.
I started with this blog migration — moving from WordPress to a static site on Cloudflare Pages — specifically because it would also allow me to learn some SDLC basics hands-on: git workflows, CI/CD, deployment pipelines. It also lets me try out a more agentic content engine as part of my learning goals, where WordPress felt pretty limited for what I wanted to do. You’re reading the early results of this.
